Paralegal - 1st Party Property Damage

Litigation Paralegals work directly with our attorneys to assist them with ongoing cases and prepare them for trial if needed. In addition, they conduct fact-finding projects and are responsible for maintaining all case files.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties.
• Prepare correspondence on own initiative for approval of attorney and draft legal documents as required.
• Document management with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
• Draft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
• Communicate with clients.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 to 3 years of paralegal experience.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
• First-party property experience preferred.
• Experience with case management software.
• Experience e-filing in both state and federal courts.
