Bilingual (Spanish) Labor Organization Representative
International Union of Painters & Allied Trades District Council 6 (IUPAT DC 6) is seeking a Bilingual- (Spanish) speaking Business Representative/Organizer to work under the guidance of the BM/ST, and District Council Directors to provide translations and other communications that further accelerates our Council Campaigns and increases the diversity of DC 6 membership.
POSITION START DATE: January 2025 (Approximate Hire Date)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in both Spanish and English- (Speaking and Writing)
Knowledge and good understanding of labor unions is a plus but not mandatory.
Willingness to work outside of an office, travel, work occasional weekends, attend events/meetings in the evenings as necessary.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups.
Strong computer and technology skills are preferred (Microsoft Office 365- Word, Excel, Company Programs, etc…)
A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required.
COMPENSATION:
Wage compensation is $28.00 - $33.0/hr based on experience paid @ 48hrs weekly salary.

Paid Holidays and Time Off.
