About the Job
Clarifi Staffing Solutions seeks a full-time Sped Teacher to join our Supported Education program as a case manager and special education teacher for dual language students. Our program offers students with special education needs, tailored support through various service delivery models. One key approach involves collaborative instruction, where a general education and special education teacher work together to deliver lessons within the general education classroom.
Position Overview:
- Full-time role for the academic year, with potential for renewal based on performance
- Support students with diverse learning needs in a bilingual (dual-language) setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) while accommodating students' language and learning goals
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a supportive, bilingual learning environment
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills in both special education and dual-language instruction
Requirements
- IL's Special Education teaching certification.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience working with dual language learners or in a bilingual setting is a plus.
