Salary:

$23.20- $27.40 depending on experience!

The Biller position performs a variety of complex accounting functions for patient billing.

Biller

• Posts all payments and/or denials, manual and electronic to patient accounts.
• Reviews all payments and adjustments to ensure accuracy.
• Prepares and submits clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper.
• Corrects errors found in patient accounts.
• Follows up on submitted claims; monitors unpaid claims and resubmits as needed.
• Processes patient and insurance refund requests in a timely manner.
• Answers questions from patients, clerical staff, and insurance companies over the phone.

Required Experience:

Requirements:

• Two years of Dental Billing experience.

• One year demonstrated ability with solving complex problems with a focus on detail and participating in problem resolution.

• Experience using communication skills verbal and written.
• One year hands-on experience with answering phone calls and using computer-based applications in a professional manner.
• Demonstrated experience with data entry.
• Current and in good standing: CDL, vehicle insurance, DMV printout.
