Position - Billing and Collection Assistant

Smith Mazure is looking for a billing/collection assistant who will support the accounting department. We are looking for a candidate with experience in these fields that will work together in a team setting. Some duties will include but are not limited to the below. 

- Create new matters and update timekeepers on billing websites

- Comply with client guidelines in reviewing billing

- Prepare and process invoices

- Upload invoices timely to billing websites

- Assist collections department in timely and thorough follow ups

- Review specific client AR to determine outstanding amounts to collect on.

- Website budget knowledge 

- Troubleshooting  and client services 

- Team oriented skill set.
