Our Accounting & Finance Staffing team is currently looking to speak with candidates who would be a good fit for roles with the specifications below:
Responsibilities:
- Review, record and track invoices to ensure accuracy in accordance with a variety of contracts, billing structures and agreements
- Maintain records of miscellaneous correspondence, telephone conversations, and in-house communications
- Work closely with other departments regarding purchasing, personnel, payroll, and other administrative matters
- Reconcile historical and incoming invoices
- Maintain and assess monthly parent fees and assist with monthly reports
- Handle occasional collections or client follow up for missing or incomplete invoices or payments
- Review current procedures and develop suggestions for improvement as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
- At least two years of experience handling complex billing and invoicing needs in a professional services or agency setting; legal, consulting, architecture, construction and staffing industries preferred
- Previous exposure to reconciliations, contract agreements, and billable hours required
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Independent, driven self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Must be able to prioritize multiple competing tasks according to urgency
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive financial information
