Marcum Search has been engaged by our client, a prestigious midsized law firm, located in Midtown NYC to join their team as a Billing Coordinator. This is a high volume position.

Responsibilities
- Prepares and submits electronic bills (eBills) in LEDES (Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard); monitor status and follow up on acceptance and approvals; support the collections process
- Research client deductions related to eBilling
- Compile and submit accrual and budget information on various eBills
- Propose and submit timekeeper rates; monitor approvals and rejections.
- Liaison with attorneys, clients, and management regarding invoices and eBills
- Generate a “Statement of Accounts” for attorney approval
- Minimum of 3 years of professional services billing in the legal industry, including at least two years of electronic billing experience
- Proficiency in Aderant Expert (strongly preferred) or Elite Enterprise software
- Proficiency in Excel and Word software
