Billing Representative FT - TEAMCare Behavioral Health LLC

TEAMCare Behavioral Health, LLC., continues to grow and expand our services. To this end, we are constantly looking for qualified, experienced, and motivated individuals to join our team. We are in need of a motivated, hard-working team player who is a quick learner and can work independently behind the scenes. The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with TEAMCare's billing and collections policies and procedures and timely and accurate invoicing as well as inputting and monitoring of all documents, transactions and records impacting the Accounts Receivable system.

Major Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring health providers are paid for medical services rendered
• Reviewing patient medical records
• Coding treatment information
• Receiving patient treatment codes to use in assembling reimbursement claims
• Coordinating reimbursement activities with payers
• Billing patients for medical services
• Verifying medical insurance using NaviNet software.
• Utilizing Clinician Desktop software to perform medical billing and coding functions
• Data entry into system
• Submitting information to insurance carriers.
• May be handling claims, collections, reimbursements and transfers and insurance fraud issues

Qualifications

• MUST have previous medical billing experience
• Excellent organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills and exceptional detail orientation and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in NaviNet preferred or other medical billing and coding software experience
• Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances and FBI Clearance
