Billing Representative - Trans-Care Ambulance

The Trans-Care Billing Department currently has open positions for an Administrative Assistant and a Patient Accounts/Collections Representative.  

The Administrative Assistant duties include (but not limited to):

• Answering the phone and assisting callers with questions
• Daily invoice printing
• Requesting medical records and missing documentation
• Follow up on legal accounts

The Patient Accounts/Collections Representative duties include (but not limited to):

• Process incoming patient mail
• Bill Patient account verifications 
• Collection account reporting and management
• Bill Patient account billing

The successful candidate will also cross-train on other billing functions within the office, including answering incoming phone calls and weekly collection calls.  This in-office position is Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Prior billing experience preferred, but not necessary
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
• Ability to multi-task 
• Attention to detail is a must
• Must be able to pass drug screening, if offered employment
