About the Job
Schedules all procedures for the Surgical Department including the hospital, Outpatient Care Center, and Endoscopy department.
Handles scheduling same-day surgical procedures that are deemed urgent.
Reviews surgery schedule with each individual surgeon’s office the day prior to the scheduled surgery date to confirm.
Answers and handles all incoming calls or directs them to the appropriate party as necessary.
Coordinates with other departments for the scheduling of certain procedures.
Maintains employee access for company issued surgical scrubs.
Handles the billing of all surgical procedures, anesthesia, and other related charges.
Updates internal sites with necessary information for the Nursing Supervisors.
Minimum Education
High School Diploma required.
High School Diploma required.
Minimum Work Experience
Medical experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
