Billing Specialist - Aptean

We’re looking for a Billing Specialist for our office in Alpharetta, GA. The position is fulltime. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.

About the Role

The Billing Specialist is a customer facing role responsible for invoicing for multiple product lines of Aptean. We seek a highly energetic professional who drives value by ensuring that global invoices are posted and delivered timely and accurately. Successful candidates will embrace change, look for process improvement opportunities and promote efficiency and quality work. You'll need ambition, accountability, and an ability and drive to understand the dynamics of business.

In this role you will:

• Process invoices for assigned product lines and entities.
• Understand SLA requirements and ensure SLAs are met.
• Participate in Finance integration and onboarding of acquired companies.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Renewals, and Collection teams to deliver exceptional results for our customers.
• Ensure timely processing of credit/debit adjustments and collaboration requests.
• Ensure compliance with controls and accounting procedures.
• Actively participate in internal and external audit activities.
• Ensure monthly closing deadlines are met.
• Work on special projects as requested.

About you:

This role typically requires 2-4 years of accounting, finance, or billing experience. 

To be ahead of the pack, you might have:

• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet required deadlines
• Ability to think strategically and tactically, with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to embrace change and work to achieve goals.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive results.

• Experience working with Sage Intacct

• Experience working with Salesforce

• Bachelor's degree preferred
