Billing Specialist - Distinctive Living

Pro-Visio is an accounting and finance firm that provides accounting support to senior living communities across the United States.

Summary/Objective

As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for providing effective support to our accounting department and performing a variety of responsibilities related to Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living Communities.

Essential Functions

• Maintaining accounting databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed.
• Communicating with clients/customers to request payment and arrange payment plans.
• Collect payments from customers and accurately record them in the system.
• Assist with creating reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses.
• Updating client/customer accounts based on payment or contact information.
• Create monthly invoices and submit to customers.
• Supporting colleagues in the accounting department as needed

Work Environment

Works in a well-lighted area that is ventilated and is physically, physiologically, and psychologically innocuous as possible under the conditions which exist at any particular time. On occasion, there may be exposure to outdoor spaces, which will, by their nature, have variances in air quality, temperature, walking surfaces, lighting, and other physical aspects.

Certifications, Licenses, Education, Experience and other Special Requirements

To be considered for an interview, you must have: A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration OR several years of experience comparable to the Billing Specialist role.

To be interviewed you will likely also have: Strong verbal and written skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced computer and technology competency, especially with Excel, Word, and MS Outlook. Yardi experience is a plus.
