Billing Specialist - HumanHire

HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked national Law Firm to find a Legal Billing Specialist to join the firms growing team in West Orange, NJ.

The Legal Billing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the billing cycle, preparing invoices, and ensuring compliance with billing policies and procedures. This role involves working closely with attorneys and clients to address billing inquiries and ensure timely and accurate billing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and distribute client invoices, ensuring accuracy in billing rates, time entries, and expenses.
• Oversee the entire billing process, including time entry, invoice generation, and follow-up on outstanding invoices.
• Act as the primary point of contact for billing inquiries from clients and attorneys, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate billing records in the firm’s financial systems. Ensure all time and expense entries are recorded correctly and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with firm billing guidelines and client-specific requirements, including adherence to legal billing standards.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Law Firm Billing experience
• Aderant or Elite Proficiency
• Associates or Bachelors Degree
