Billing Supervisor - Oxford Valley Health

As a Billing Manager at Oxford Valley Health, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing process for our nursing home portfolio. Your primary duties will include oversighnt on facility staff ensuring accurate and timely billing, managing accounts receivable, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. You will work closely with our administrative and clinical staff to ensure that our billing practices reflect our commitment to excellence in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the billing operations for multiple nursing home facilities.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims to insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable billing regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Implement and maintain billing procedures and policies to enhance efficiency.
• Train and supervise billing staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care setting.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in billing software and electronic health records (PointClickCare) systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
