About being our BIM Administrator
As our BIM Administrator, you will join the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) project team of 40+ planners, architects, engineers, and other technical professionals to plan & design their next wave of capital investments, including airfield improvements, terminal improvements, infrastructure improvements, and more.
Responsibility Highlights for our BIM Administrator
- Opening and evaluating 3D models (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, ACC)
- Administration of Autodesk BIM360 Design environment
- Administration of ACC project environment
- Field verification of model objects in the form of attribute data
- Maintaining digital library of BIM models on ACC or another platform
- Implementing new BIM tools, select innovative solutions for automating repetitive tasks or introduce new plug-ins for existing programs
- Ensuring BIM models remain up to date throughout the course of a project
- Verifying that exported data from the BIM is accurate and complete
- Participating in meetings with project teams to ensure everyone understands how to adhere to the BIM process
- Reviewing and commenting BIM submittals
Minimum Qualifications to be our BIM Administrator
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, and/or related field
- Knowledge and experience with Autodesk Revit, Civil3D, BIM 360 Design, Navisworks, ACC, O365 SharePoint and Microsoft Office products.
- Familiar with PM/CM functions in construction projects
- 1+ years experience working with BIM related processes and workflows

- CM-BIM (Certificate of Management - Building Information Modeling)

- A competitive salary! The expected range for this position is $28.00-$38.60/hour depending on experience.
- This position offers a hybrid/telework schedule. Telework - Monday and Friday. Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
