Description:
FourFront Design, Inc. has openings for a temporary Building Information Modeling (BIM) Field Technician. Project consists of measuring buildings and floor plans as well as plumbing and piping in buildings and confirming results to existing schematic plans. The project is scheduled for approximately six months October 2024 through April 2025. Job specifications include:
This project will last approximately six months.
Work hours will average 30-40 per week, Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM while on site. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required if job duties demand.
Work will be performed at Sheridan, WY.
Travel by company vehicle. (unless local to Sheridan, WY)
Work will occur both inside and outside.
Equipment used: Retractable tape measure, laser measure device, laser scanner device, electronic notepad, step ladder, HEPACARTâ, pencil/pen & paper.
Physical requirements:
Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Able to walk, stand, climb, crouch, crawl through small spaces; able to move for extended periods.
Able to push/pull wheeled HEPACART weighing approximately 375 pounds.
Able to move/stabilize 8’-10’ ladders; climb and complete measurements. Able to work in confined spaces.
Able to accurately record/confirm measurements to existing field notes/plans.
Able to follow and comply with safety policies.
Must be able to meet all safety standards required by client.
Good communication skills, with ability to follow directions and work independently.
Analytic / Critical thinking skills, to include observation, analysis, interpretation, problem-solving, decision making.
Read and speak English with understanding.
Team player skills are required: be reliable and responsible, actively listen, be ready to help, problem solve, respect others, provide and receive constructive feedback, and be committed to the team.
Must have valid driver’s license, able to operate Sprinter Crew Van, and able to drive extended distances in any environments.
Background check and fingerprints by client will be required.
Must be able to work in the United States.
Experience Required:
Must be able to work proficiently in Microsoft Office and similar applications.
Salary or Hourly:
Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour, plus per diem and overtime per company policy.
Location:
Travel to Sheridan, WY on site.
Prefer if in Sheridan location.
Travel from Rapid City, SD if not in Sheridan.
Shift:
30-40 hours per week. Standard workdays and hours of FourFront Design Inc are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. while on site. If traveling to Sheridan out of state, then Monday and Friday will be traveling days. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Flexibility in schedule considered if job duties are satisfactorily met.
