We are searching for BIM Technician who has experience within electrical engineering to work within our Security Engineering teams. This role will provide the unique opportunity to work on some of the most advanced, innovative and renowned projects as part of the Introba Team.
Responsibilities:- Work under direction of a design professional and BIM Manager
- Develop drawing files from design plans and details for use by engineering group
- Produce drawings from engineer's designs
- Ensure engineering drawings are accurately reflected
- Coordinate drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines
- Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines' designs to ensure a constructible, clash-free design
- Adhere to BIM execution plan and BIM project workflow criteria
- Follow BIM content standards and development procedures
- Review project files for adherence to Company/Project Standards and protocols
- Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a local or remote team
- Print drawing sets and participate in project reviews
- Ability to export and other formats for collaboration internally and externally
- Bluebeam / BIM 360 ACC is a plus or a desire to learn
- Associated degree from accredited program
- Strong experience in producing drawings for building system designs using REVIT and AutoCAD
- Additional consideration given for knowledge of Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or AutoCAD Utility Designer
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily task
- Track record of being dependable, self-motivated, and having a desire to learn
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Desire to continue career advancement into a Designer Role within the Introba Organization
