Bindery Machine Operator - Image Wrap Casemaker

As a Casemaker Operator at RPI Print, you will be responsible for producing image-wrapped covers using our Kolbus DA-260 casing-in machine. You will also operate GP2 SC2 casing-in devices and assist with other bindery duties as required. This is a full-time position with flexible hours that may include overtime and weekend shifts during peak seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate casing-in devices to meet production schedules.
• Ensure high-quality output within specified production timeframes.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
• Keep machines and workspaces clean and organized.
• Collaborate with team members and train other operators.
• Take on additional bindery and equipment responsibilities as assigned.
• Execute other duties as directed by supervisors.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing operator role, with print industry experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and ensure product quality.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for equipment operation and production tracking.
• Effective communication and time management skills.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
