Biomedical Equipment Technician at Inceed

About the Job
Compensation: $22-$30/hr
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Position: Biomedical Equipment Technician
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join their team! You will be responsible for analyzing and repairing various medical equipment systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and perform emergency service during surgical cases and on hospital floors, including equipment setup and operational support
• Conduct and schedule preventive maintenance with external vendors, including inspections, calibrations, and repairs
• Inspect and certify new equipment, coordinate installations, and recommend maintenance specifications
• Advise on specifications for new equipment purchases and suggest replacements for obsolete or damaged equipment
• Maintain detailed equipment history, including parts, labor, and contract services, and generate reports as needed
• Instruct staff on equipment operation and safety standards
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Service Technology, Electronic Service Technology, Computer Service Technology, or relevant military training
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Experience working with surgical and hospital equipment
• Vendor management experience
• Knowledge of electrical safety inspections and performance testing
