Blending Operator Leading food manufacturer in Orangeville has an immediate need for a Blending Operator to join their 1st shift.  The Blending Operator will blend, package and ship dry food ingredients and prepare production equipment and rooms for operation. The Blending Operator will maintain a clean and safe working environment. Hours: 3pm-12:30am- Mon-FridayPay: $18.50/hour Blending Operator Responsibilities:

• Kit and stage batches
• Weigh ingredients
• Dump and blend batches
• Ensure that all documentation is completed and verified daily
• Become forklift certified, if applicable
• Use manual pallet jacks
• Participate and perform in Clean in Place (CIP), housekeeping, and chemical use
• Equipment assembly and setup
• Label to packaging standards
• Other duties as assigned

 Blending Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good math skills and accurate data entry skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Ability to read, understand and complete SOPs and company documentation
• Flexibility to be cross-trained and adaptable to move between work centers
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in wet and dusty environments, with varying temperatures
• Ability to work with allergens present, i.e. soy, wheat and milk)
• Work with a team to provide production and sanitation support
• Work effectively as part of a team and display a positive attitude
• Ability to work in all assigned areas of production and perform relief duties when required
