Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Houston, TX (by the Galleria)
Our team is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our vision of providing treatment grounded in Applied Behavioral Analysis. The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is an important member of the multidisciplinary treatment team addressing skill acquisition and behavior reduction for children with autism and/or developmental global disabilities ages 18 months to 7 years of age. Housed in a preschool setting, the BCBA is actively involved in functional assessment, development of positive behavior support plans, and consultation, data collection and analysis, caregiver training and support, and overall maintenance of behavioral assessment and treatment protocols. Our program exercises advantages of being a multi-disciplinary treatment team that includes BCBAs, SLPs, and OTs in the whole child approach to therapy.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience working with children with autism and intellectual disability
- Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst required
- Master’s degree
- Must demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage and lead a classroom of RBTs and student/clients, and client's families.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt readily to change, work flexibly within a team, and work within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Computers is required, experience with Central Reach a plus.
