About the Position
D&S Automotive is currently seeking an experienced Parts Coordinator to join our parts team. The Parts Coordinator has a crucial role in the repair process, contributing to the speed and quality of vehicle repairs.
This is a full-time opportunity that works during the 8:00 am - 5:30 pm time frame, Monday through Friday. The Body Shop Parts Coordinator will report to the Body Shop Parts Manager and pay will commensurate with the chosen candidate's experience.
Essential Job Functions
- Work and communicate with estimators to determine what parts are required to repair vehicles
- Work with vendors to locate and order parts in the most efficient manner
- Receive and mirror match parts to check for accuracy and quality
- Enter invoices and credit memos into estimating system, CCC One
- Properly storing away paint supply deliveries
- Track returns and follow up with vendors on pending credits
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
- At least one year automotive parts experience preferred
- Familiarity with CCC One estimating software preferred
- Experience with parts ordering software such as Parts Trader, Parts Bridge, etc. preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform periodic lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach above and below shoulder level
- May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, high levels of dust and noise from body shop
