J.C. Lewis Motor Co. is looking for a reliable and hardworking Body Shop Porter to join our team! As a Body Shop Porter, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our body shop running smoothly and efficiently. This full-time position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday work or mandatory overtime when required, which will be communicated in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Moving vehicles in and out of the shop safely
- Detailing cars for delivery to customers
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, mopping, and general shop upkeep
- Emptying trash and recycling bins regularly
- Cleaning and organizing equipment and tools
- Assisting technicians with parts deliveries to work areas
- Performing light maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in a similar role or working in an automotive or body shop environment preferred
- Excellent time management skills and dependability
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for the last three years

- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to clean and detail vehicles or perform maintenance tasks
- Must be able to operate vehicles in tight spaces and move them safely around the lot and shop areas
- Regular exposure to dust, fumes, and noise within a body shop environment
