We are currently seeking a Certified Boiler Operator to operate, maintainand repair Boilers, auxiliary equipment, Controls & FMS Systemslocatedin the interior and exterior of building. Regularly conducts a routine and on-going assessment of the Utility Plant systems operations. Performs tests, inspections and analyzes data to assure the proper functioning of site equipment.
Schedule:
- AWS Schedule
- Wed-Saturday 11PM-10:30AM
- 10% shift differential
- Non- Union
Responsibilities:
Oversee &monitorthe site Utility plant systems andmake adjustmentsand/orrepairsas necessary. Maintenance and repairs of systems includes, but is not limited to; boilers, water testing, heat exchangers, RO & soft water systems, chilled water systems, hot water heaters, pumps, valves, single and three phase motors, air compressors, bearings, seals,filtersand all associated equipment.
Position requires individual to be available to work different shifts as needed tomaintainsite utility requirements. This positionwill be a12 hourshifton a DuPont shift model
Position requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems,determinethe root cause of failures and take corrective action asrequired.
Performs preventive maintenance on all Utility Plant equipment.
Maintain tools,orderand track inventory for repairs. Maintain logs, document equipment repairs, adhere to daily work plan, track time, and communicate daily with the Operations Manager and Lead Engineer.
Complies withdepartmental policy for the safe storage,usageand disposal of hazardousmaterials. Maintains a clean and safework space.
Must have the ability to interact and communicate repair status to clients.
Work across trades to provide support asrequired.
May berequiredto work Overtime as needed and/or Flex schedule to meet business needs.
Requirements:
Completion of a CEU eligibleBoiler Operations TrainingCourse
Education - High school diploma or state equivalentrequired, minimum of two years related trade schooling or two years of college.
Experience –1 year experience in building operation,maintenanceand repair, or equivalentfield experience in the field as service technician.
Special knowledge and skills - Skilled in use of tools and machinery required by the position. Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.
Personal characteristics - Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports and have excellent customer service skills.
Estimated total compensation for this position:
83,200.00 – 83,200.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
