Boilermaker - Unite Contracting

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves working with various systems and requires expertise in hydraulics and field service operations. As a Boilermaker, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and repair boilers and related equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Conduct routine maintenance on industrial systems to ensure efficiency.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar role within industrial maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hydraulics.
• Familiarity with HVAC/R systems is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Experience in field service operations is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26 - $28 per hour
