Responsibilities

Under direct supervision of the Diagnostic Supervisor and/or Radiologists, operates bone densitometry equipment to produce quality images. Performs related technical functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care utilizing efficient and safe processes.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

Experience

• 1 year of medical office experience in a healthcare environment required

Licenses and Certifications

• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• DEXA - State of California X-Ray Technician Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry Limited Permit required
• CBDT - Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist preferred
