BONE DENSITY TECH II - FOOTHILL IMAGING CENTER (Foothill Ranch, CA, US, 92610) - Hoag

Salary Range: $25.2900 - $38.9200 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

This position asks for support at multiple sites in South Orange county: Foothill Ranch, Woodbridge, Aliso Viejo and Sand Canyon, Irvine)

The Bone Density Tech provides direct patient care by performing bone density scans and reviews scans for content and quality.  This position is also responsible for ensuring the scan equipment is functioning properly. In addition, the Bone Density Tech performs various administrative responsibilities for the department, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, and filing and photocopying. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Successful completion of an on the job or formal education/training program in bone densitometry

License Required

• Limited License as a Bone Densitometry Technician issued by the State of California, Radiologic Health Branch

Certifications Required

• BLS Certification
