Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor in a dynamic and growing manufacturing company in Irvine? BBSI is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client’s team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for accuracy and organization, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll: Manage and process payroll on a weekly basis for all employees.
- General Ledger: Complete month-end close, prepare journal entries, and maintain accurate financial records. Perform general ledger reconciliation and generate financial reports.
- Accounts Payable: Process all invoices, payments to vendors, and perform month-end close procedures. Reconcile vendor aging statements to ensure timely payments.
- Accounts Receivable: Assist with month-end close, review accounts for cash flow purposes, and ensure accuracy in receivables.
- Purchase Orders: Post and track materials sent between their Tijuana Factory and Irvine Warehouse - Process invoices for payment.
- Inventory Management: Review and correct inventory items, reconcile negative inventory tiers, and post-production reports for items produced and shipped to Irvine.
- Bank Reconciliation: Monitor cash accounts twice weekly, prepare deposits, post payments in the A/R module, and reconcile bank accounts at month-end.
- Tax Reporting: Prepare quarterly sales tax filings and assist with annual government reporting as needed.
- Annual Financials: Compile year-end data and work with external CPA to prepare income taxes.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or Accountant within a manufacturing environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Sage 100 Standard or similar accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all accounting functions.
- Ability to work independently while being an active team player.
