Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) invoices, reconciling discrepancies.
Handle payroll processing, including calculating employee hours and benefits.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper recordkeeping for audits.
Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
Work closely with the finance department and plant management to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Assist with year-end closing procedures and tax filing preparations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role in an industrial or corporate setting.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar programs) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various departments.
