Job Description:
As our Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, and preparing reports to support decision-making. You will work closely with our finance team and other departments to ensure that all financial information is properly recorded and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and annual budgets.
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions.
- Work with external auditors and handle financial audits.
- Handle invoicing, receipts, and payment processing.
- Track and manage company expenses and reimbursements.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.).
- Familiarity with tax regulations and payroll systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
