Bookkeeper - SDS Stores Inc.

SDS Stores, INC. is a dynamic and growing player in the culinary scene, managing a network of vibrant and popular multi-unit casual dining restaurants. As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a talented and driven Accountant to join our finance team. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our multi-unit operations, with the flexibility of part-time or full-time hours. In person meetings are required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain financial records for multiple restaurant locations, overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Collaborate with the regional manager to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions at each unit.
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements, providing insights into the overall financial health of the business.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, vendor accounts, and other financial data across all units.
• Collaborate with the regional manager to develop and manage budgets for individual locations and the overall organization.
• Provide financial guidance and support to restaurant managers, fostering a culture of financial responsibility and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of financial operations, including cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
