About the Job
Our client in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team on a contract basis.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payment follow-ups.
Record all revenues and payments accurately for designated clients.
Reconcile bank statements and monthly credit card statements for specified clients.
Prepare and deposit checks as needed.
Generate monthly financial reports for assigned PMG clients.
Assist auditors by providing necessary documentation and worksheets for client records.
Prepare and mail 1099 tax forms for specified PMG clients.
Support special projects as required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred.
Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is highly desirable.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Ability to interact professionally with PMG clients and their members.
Pay: $28-$30/hr

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;
other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
