Bookkeeper - Primary Location

Roger Keith & Sons Insurance is looking for a new BOOKKEEPER to join our team. We are hiring in our Brockton office. We pride ourselves on our excellent culture, and we are seeking someone who wants to be a part of that strong team. Seeking a detail oriented candidate to join our growing agencys accounting department. This is a part time position working directly with our Controller.

Part time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday until trained then Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Evenings Off

Responsibilities

Job duties to include but not limited to:

Accounts Receivable Record receipt of payments. Match payments to invoices.

Accounts Payable Prepare payments to various vendors and submit for payment approval.

Billing of commission statements.

Assist in management of phone systems and call flows.

Various projects to assist Controller.

Previous basic accounting / bookkeeping experience desired. Should be proficient in Microsoft Products (excel, word, office). Applicant must be detail oriented, have good time management skills and the ability to work independently.
