Job Overview:
The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial processes, including transaction management, reconciliation, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. This position offers an opportunity to support month-end and year-end closings while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Key Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper:
- Accurately verify, allocate, and post business transactions to subsidiary accounts and the general ledger.
- Assist with managing month-end and year-end closings, including accruals and prepaids.
- Perform accurate general ledger reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Handle all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Collections.
Qualifications desired for the Bookkeeper:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
- GAAP compliance experience is a must.
- Proficiency in Excel is highly desirable.
- Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to work.
Location: Clearwater, FL. Full-time, on-site.
Salary:$55,000 - $70,000, depending on experience.
