Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform regular bank statement and general ledger account reconciliations
- Utilize accounting software for daily financial tasks and record maintenance
- Maintain related accounts and verify daily transactions
- Compile information for various financial statements
- Track and report on variances from projected budgets
- Carry out daily banking activities
- Participate in regular auditing processes to ensure ongoing record accuracy
- Provide backup to accounting functions in the mailroom
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in accounting or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in other Office applications

Salary
48,000 - 50,000 /year
