Bookkeeper/Office Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our client's team as a Bookkeeper with Front Office Responsibilities. This role will require you to efficiently manage financial transactions and records while also engaging with clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of accounting principles, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties of the Bookkeeper/Office Manager
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, and vendor invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare and process payroll, including calculations for taxes, deductions, and benefits.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, highlighting any discrepancies or irregularities.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
Requirements of the Bookkeeper/Office Manager
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools; proficiency in QuickBooks or other similar platforms is preferred.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or front office role is advantageous.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation of the Bookkeeper/Office Manager
- $55-60k Dependent on Experience
