Bookkeeper - Part time - PrideStaff

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
• Perform partial checks of the posting process.
• Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
• Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
• Manage expense reports and reimbursements.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Working with contracted CPA firm.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Monitor and support taxation requirements guided by contracted CPA firm.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams

• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and use simple software suite including CRM, QB Online, and Microsoft Office.

• Proven bookkeeping experience.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Experience within a manufacturing or services business is a plus
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred but not required
• CB/CBP or any QuickBooks Certification is preferred but not required.
