Job Summary:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Monitor and manage budgets, providing regular financial updates to management.
- Assist with audits and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Use accounting software to manage financial transactions and generate reports.
Qualifications:
- Proven 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or etc.).
- Experience in Agriculture, Construction, or Manufacture industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
