Boom Truck Operator - CWallA

We are seeking a local Boom Truck Operator at our San Jose branch. This position is also available to a CDL driver who has no boom experience but is willing and able to be NCCCO- ABL trained and certified. As a Boom Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe handling and delivery of construction materials to local job sites using an Articulating Boom Loader (ABL) Crane and the assistance of CWallA Material Stockers.

Essential Functions:

• Safe and legal operation of commercial delivery vehicle, forklift and attached Articulating Boom Loader (ABL) Crane
• Loading and unloading materials
• Job site stocking
• Ability to lift, stand and move throughout the shift

Responsibilities:

• Physically handling materials with the assistance of a Material Stocker
• Safe delivery and off-loading of commercial construction materials
• Participating in the accurate and orderly placement of delivered material at job sites
• Continuously abiding by traffic laws and regulatory agency guidelines
• Inventory control
• Various yard duties between deliveries including but not limited to, shipping, receiving and filling customer orders

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Proven forklift experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to consistently lift and carry construction materials
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend and twist throughout complete shifts

NCCCO- ABL certification is preferred, but not required.
