In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with top interior designers, consult with clients, and delight customers. You will spend your time designing and decorating the shop to reflect the Blend style and contribute new ideas with your design approach.

In the role of Retail Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to:
- Have fun and express yourself while designing stylish and creative vignettes and displays for the shop with our unique selection of high-end, on-trend, classic home decor.

- Work with our amazing customers to design their space utilizing our decor.

What you can expect from a day in the life of a Retail Sales Associate at Blend Indoor Outdoor: Arrive at 9 am and start opening. You will make sure everything in the shop looks beautiful, and brainstorm fresh ideas for vignettes, products to order or make, or our latest Instagram reel. You’ll carefully package and fulfill online orders, taking extra care to include a handwritten thank you note to our amazing customers.
The Basics:
- E-commerce business management for; orders, products, categorization, returns, and website maintenance.
- Processing goods: receiving, pricing, packing, claims, and shipping.
- Manage various projects that require planning, organization, follow-up, and reporting.
- Ordering, inventory management, and some office management duties.
- Helping with retail business tasks as they come up.
- Working with customers on the retail floor as a salesperson as they browse the shop.
Requirements:
- Retail or related experience with POS systems, inventory, sales, and online sales.
- Detail orientation with great follow-up and follow-through.
The shops are open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and 9-4 on Saturdays. The position we are filling is for Wednesdays and alternating Fridays and Saturdays every other week, at around 14 to 22 hours per week. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 22 per week
