Bowling Desk Attendant
$18-$22/hr – Ages 18+
Overview: As a Bowling Desk Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have a fantastic experience from the moment they walk in the door. You will be responsible for handling reservations, managing lane assignments, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and lane assignments.
- Address guest inquiries and provide information about bowling alley services and promotions.
- Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
- Reservations and Lane Management:
- Handle phone and in-person reservations for bowling lanes.
- Assign lanes to guests based on availability and group size.
- Monitor lane usage to ensure efficient operation and minimal wait times.
- Sales and Transactions:
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments for bowling games, shoe rentals, and other services.
- Upsell bowling alley promotions, packages, and merchandise.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring the balance of the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Equipment and Facility Maintenance:
- Issue and collect bowling shoes, ensuring they are clean and in good condition.
- Perform routine cleaning of the front desk area and bowling equipment.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members, including the kitchen, bar staff, and management, to provide a seamless guest experience.
- Assist with setting up and managing events and leagues as needed.
