We are looking for an experienced mechanic who is responsible for tracking and completing repairs and preventative maintenance on bowling and scoring equipment, ensuring safety protocols and procedures are always followed. As a head mechanic you will work to efficiently make repairs and communicate with team members and guests as needed to ensure the guest has the best bowling experience. This position reports to the Facility Maintenance Manager.

Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures safety protocols and procedures are always followed personally and by all team members.
- Maintains and repairs:
- Complete preventive maintenance as scheduled and pinsetter, bowling repairs as needed.
- Pinsetter frames per stop log and record all pinsetter stops.
- Shop, back aisle, and tools are clean and organized.
- Parts inventory, parts usage log and order parts as needed.
- Complete preventive maintenance on scoring equipment.
- Repairs as needed to scoring equipment.
- Work schedules for all mechanical team personnel as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair regular bowling machine errors quickly while communicating regularly with guests to maximize their bowling experience.
- Track and perform regularly scheduled maintenance on all machines, lanes, and equipment by utilizing our operations execution software (Jolt).
- Assist Facility Maintenance Manager with other responsibilities and projects as needed.
- Reports to the Facilities Maintenance Manager and has weekly one-on-ones to discuss budgets, operations, and Team Member performance/growth plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bowling knowledge a plus but not required.
- Personable but professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and to problem solve effectively.
- Proven ability in leadership, communication, and negotiating skills.
- Take initiative as a self-starter known to work with integrity while also being a strong team player.

- Computer literate with ability to pick up new software programs and applications easily.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Able to lift 35 pounds.
