About the Job
This person should be an outgoing, energetic, and creative sales professional who is a clear self-starter with strong sales and relationship skills. This position will be involved with selling and maintaining ticket sales and managing the box office and ticket sales programs.
In order of importance (1=Most Important), the individual chosen for this role will prioritize the following responsibilities:
- Direct Sales (B2C) via phone calls
- Direct Marketing (B2C) via email platforms & Score CRM system.
- Box Office Operations. Tickets.com experience preferred.
Essential Functions
- High outbound call volume to residential ticket buyers. Minimum of 75 per day.
- Responsible for generating maximum revenue for the Beloit Sky Carp team through full menu marketing ticket programs
- Responsible for managing all aspects of tickets
- Provide a high level of customer service and hospitality to all customers and the public
- Sell full-season, suite, and group tickets for the team
- Manage all personal accounts and provide the highest level of customer service throughout the season
- Strict management of departmental budget for revenue and expenses
- Game night responsibilities include: managing both box offices, answering the incoming sales line, assisting with sales initiatives and/or prospecting clients at the stadium
- Receive and act quickly on requests or complaints
- Attend outside events with the purpose of selling ticket packages
- Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and closed sales
- Provide quotes and purchase all ticketing essential supplies for upcoming season
- Maintain the ticket system and record keeping
- Provide detailed daily balancing reports for accounting department through ticketing system
- Manage ticket department trainees, interns, and game day staff
- Manage tickets for all other events at the stadium
- Manage and coordinate ticket sales for non-traditional events scheduled at the stadium
- Attend sales meetings and provide progressive ideas for maintaining clientele and maximizing revenue
- Season ticket holder, mini-plan & group renewals during off-season
- All other duties assigned by ownership/management and as opportunities arise
Requirements

- Maintain a professional appearance by following the Beloit Sky Carp Code of Conduct and Employee Handbook

- Ability to maintain reports and ticket system
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to pull tarp and other manual labor tasks
- Experience and knowledge with TDC and Tickets.com system preferred but not required
Education & Experience
Four-year college degree and one to three years of sales experience and/or box office experience.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The key physical requirements of this position include the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, lift up to 30 pounds, and the use of standard office equipment including computers.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a regular, full-time, nonexempt position. Days and hours will vary to include evening and weekend work according to business needs.
