We have a Braid & Weaver Machine Operator position available on 3rd shift. The duties and responsibilities include set-up, adjust, and operate multiple braiding machines.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Follow standard work instructions
- Set-up, adjust, and operator multiple braiding machines.
- Replacing bobbins as material runs out, splice ends together to ensure smooth braid
- Remove reels from take-ups and install pay-off reels as needed
- Complete paperwork and enter transactions into computer system
- Train in Lean methods and participate in team projects to help reduce through-put time and increase productivity
- May be required to evaluate work center issues with materials, machines, and workloads and report current status to supervisors.
- Stack reels on pallets
- Keep test and respool areas clean and organized
- Follow all safety and housekeeping policies
- Understand and adhere to Kanban scheduling system
Requirements:
- Pass a color identification test.
- Able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Must have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to lift 50 lb. with assistance
- The job requires standing and/or walking for long periods of time
- Reliable attendance
- Position may have some required overtime
Schedule:
- Full-time - 40+ hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Pay rate based on experience
