What you'll do
As the Branch Coordinator for Royal Truck Body (A Shyft Group Brand) based at our brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Charlotte, MI, you will enjoy partnering cross-functionally to facilitate communication across internal departments, maintain positive client relationships, and ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments.
Your day-to-day will involve presenting and selling company products and services through phone, email, and occasional in-person visits. You will also collaborate daily with production teams to meet customer needs, manage outsourced logistics providers, and ensure seamless domestic and international freight operations.

What you'll do
As the Branch Coordinator for Royal Truck Body (A Shyft Group Brand) based at our brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Charlotte, MI, you will enjoy partnering cross-functionally to facilitate communication across internal departments, maintain positive client relationships, and ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments.
Your day-to-day will involve presenting and selling company products and services through phone, email, and occasional in-person visits. You will also collaborate daily with production teams to meet customer needs, manage outsourced logistics providers, and ensure seamless domestic and international freight operations.
You will also:
- Present and sell products and services to current and potential clients via phone, email, and in-person
- Assist with ensuring product availability and on-time delivery
- Generate and send quotes to customers and dealer partners
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks
- Process sales orders and credit card payments, and resolve order discrepancies
- Coordinate parts delivery and work with Material Distribution to support production
- Manage outsourced 3PL providers and monitor shipment transactions for accuracy
- Oversee domestic and international freight movements
- Ensure compliance with import and export regulations
- Proactively follow up on freight issues and collaborate with 3PL providers to resolve disputes
- Review and process freight invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Support inventory cycle counts and assist with internal inventory activities
- Maintain organized filing systems, office supplies, and assist with various projects as needed
What you need to be successful
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 + years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Basic knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) providers and business practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
