Job Title: Operations Manager-Residential Moving Services
Location: Greater Baltimore Area (local candidates preferred, or willing to relocate within a few weeks)

Basic Function
The Operations Leader is tasked with overseeing and streamlining warehouse operations, particularly in the context of logistics for residential furniture
This role demands a dynamic leader capable of managing teams, maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Salary and Compensation:
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum.
Bonus: Discretionary bonuses based on individual performance, the performance of the warehouse branch, and the overall performance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
Manage staff scheduling and resource allocation in line with budgetary constraints.
Supervise daily operations, including quality control, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
Conduct performance reviews and handle leave requests.
Drive cost-effective practices without compromising service quality.
Maintain a clean, secure, and well-organized facility.
Facilitate training and professional development for team members.
Handle administrative tasks related to operations and personnel.
Experience/Skill Requirements:
Strong background in residential furniture services, with previous experience and tenure with furniture organizations consisting of furniture warehouse operations management experience.
Experience in a leadership/Management role with a larger commercial moving/freight-logistics company is also acceptable.
Effective team management and delegation abilities.
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Desired Skills and Experience
Strong background in residential furniture services, with previous experience and tenure with furniture organizations consisting of furniture warehouse operations management experience
Experience in a leadership/Management role with a larger commercial moving/freight-logistics company is also acceptable.
Effective team management and delegation abilities.
