Job Title: Operations Manager-Residential Moving Services
Location: Greater Baltimore Area (local candidates preferred, or willing to relocate within a few weeks)

Basic Function
The Operations Leader is tasked with overseeing and streamlining warehouse operations, particularly in the context of logistics for residential furniture. This role demands a dynamic leader capable of managing teams, maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Salary and Compensation:
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum.
- Bonus: Discretionary bonuses based on individual performance, the performance of the warehouse branch, and the overall performance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Manage staff scheduling and resource allocation in line with budgetary constraints.
- Supervise daily operations, including quality control, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Conduct performance reviews and handle leave requests.
- Drive cost-effective practices without compromising service quality.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and well-organized facility.
- Facilitate training and professional development for team members.
- Handle administrative tasks related to operations and personnel.
Experience/Skill Requirements:
- Strong background in residential furniture services, with previous experience and tenure with furniture organizations consisting of furniture warehouse operations management experience.
- Experience in a leadership/Management role with a larger commercial moving/freight-logistics company is also acceptable.
- Effective team management and delegation abilities.
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Desired Skills and Experience
Strong background in residential furniture services, with previous experience and tenure with furniture organizations consisting of furniture warehouse operations management experience
Experience in a leadership/Management role with a larger commercial moving/freight-logistics company is also acceptable.
Effective team management and delegation abilities.
