Branding and Packaging Designer - The Planet Group

Planet Interactive is looking for a Branding and Packaging Designer to join our CPG client!
Location: Van Nuys, California
Hybrid: 4 days a week, onsite

Branding and Packaging Designer Responsibilities: 

• Concept, layout and design of creative for CPG products including packaging, bottles and labels for all categories including beauty, skincare, fragrance, home products, kids and pets
• The designer will be responsible for the creating the layout, design and package mockups for products
• Design custom typography and branding for packaging and product concepts

Branding and Packaging Designer Qualifications: 

• 3+ years print and package design experience
• Understanding of best design practices for bottles/labels and print packaging
• Skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator with ability to create basic mockups
• Experience working with CPG products across multiple verticals including beauty, skincare, home, fragrance and/or pets.
• Clean and modern design aesthetic with strong type and layout skills
• Thrive a collaborative, fast paced and deadline driven environment
