About the Opportunity
The Breakdown Operator is responsible for loading and unloading panels from the oven for the baking process, breaking down books, inserting and removing pins, andoperating the flash routing machine to edge off the finished panels.
What You'll Do:
- Reads and interprets work instructions on the traveler to verify work order number and panel quantity; ensures that all previous processes were completed, signed off and dated on the traveler.
- Helps autoclave operator to remove bag from autoclave
- Inserts pins using lam plates and removes all pins after autoclave process; loads and unloads inner layers from the oven
- Wraps, labels and stores lam plates
- Presets flash route machine and loads/unloads panels through it and then bakes panels
- Completes all documents accurately
- Performs other duties as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedure, instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Ability to understand and follow all safety codes and requirements.
- Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
- Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
- Must be available to train during 1st shift and transition to 2nd shift after training
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- No experience is required
Please note that in addition to frequent standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds; as well as repetitive hand and finger motion.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Available Shift:
- Training is 1st Shift 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Regular Schedule is 2nd shift 4:00pm to 12:30am
Job Type: Full-time
