Bridge Inspection Diver position
Responsibilities:
- Conducts site investigations as part of an inspection team
- Works collaboratively with all members of the engineering dive group
- Prepare standard documents, such as technical reports
- Assists Project Managers to ensure that the scope of work is fulfilled, and that the contracted deliverables go out on schedule and as budgeted
- Ability and willingness to travel as required, approximately 50% overnight
Requirements
- (3) three years "preferred" related construction or bridge inspection experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of either construction or bridge inspection experience
- Dive Certification, NBIS, UW bridge inspection training is required
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience as a commercial diver, including underwater inspections of bridges, piers, piles, wharves, docks, and bulkheads
- Familiarity with sound engineering and safe diving principles
- Overnight travel at 50% with paid expenses.
